Hey there guys,

just wondering if anybody on here has tried to new 18 spline gearset from zumbrotta gear (zbag.com) and what your results have been like...They are priced at 850 for a 2.66 first gear ratio, but apparently are made from the same material as stock gears but with a better heat treating process...seems like a nice option for converting a 23 spline over to 18 with all new gears, but just wondering if anybody has tried it before i buy a set

thanks!
Matthew

Talk to Jamie Passon about that gear set,He has had a set in the shop and also had a few customers that have installed them as well.

As far as I know, that is the only stock ratio 18 spline gearset available.

I have never installed a set, but I know a couple guys who did. They didn't have any complaints.

I bought the lower cluster gear from them. It seems like a nice piece. We'll see if it holds up.....

it looks like a good peice, albeit its the only one out there so not much choice though for others...i would assume its stronger than the stock stuff since it is brand new metal, but im not sure since im not clear on where they are made
