It is for a superbird....but the more i looked at the more it just didn't look right. They are offering it in Plum Crazy...but thinking back (with a very horrible memory) i can't for the life of me ever remember seeing a purple 'bird. I can't believe a company would make a mistake as big as this....but someone out there tell me if my memory is totally gone or is there such a thing as a plum crazy (in-violet) superbird?

STANDARD colors were: EV2 - "tor red metallic" EK2 - "vitamin C metallic" EW1 - "alpine white" FY1 - "lemon twist" FJ5 - "lime light" EB5 - "blue fire metallic" & 999/C37D - "corporate blue" / "Petty blue"

I think it was in a magazine about 10 years back or so. I remember a purple 440-6 4 speed superbird around here back around the late 70s early 80s...I eventually had the opportunity to buy it in 84 {for 2500 bucks and did'nt take it !!! Even had a child seat fastened in the back when I looked at it... }...As it turns out it was a repaint over the original color but everyone thought it was a special order because nobody ever remembered it any other color... This happens alot...
