What type of car/combo won the event in 2009? What kind of ET's were these cars running? I looked on the MATS site, but, there is only a link to the names of the winner,runner-up, etc.

Rich Nedbal did in his Land Shark Dragster. I would have qualified #12 IIRC. Took the Super Pro low qualifier money instead. Good thing to with my race weekend could not buy a green lite. I believe Rich was running 8.50's maybe. I was about .10 faster. Why do you ask??? You do realise it is a bracket race? Fastest cars qualify is the only difference. There were a couple of 6 second cars in the field but if I would have qualified that should tell you all it took last year. In years past my effort would not have come close, the field was, well weak last year.

BTW you had that thing out to the track yet?

We were thinking about bringing the Pro Mod Viper to play with these guys.

My car is ready to load in the trailer, but, the forecast for both Bakersfield and Barona is not looking good for this Saturday. We'll see....

The Viper in Q16 would be intereting. I think you guys could manage to get low Qualifier for sure. As for the bracket portion, might make for an interesting run or two.

But this year will be with a pump gas Hemi running in the high 7s.

Back to back time! Rich, what was your engine combo last year?

Last years engine was the pump gas 500" wedge that we entered into the Mopar Muscle Engine Challenge (we had the highest HP too). I detuned it so it would last, converted it to EFI and ran it for a year.
