Unfortunately, Green bearings don't come with instructions. They are easy to install, however. They press on in the order pictured in this thread.

I used a press to remove mine, you can go to a machine shop, a brick and motor parts store, or do a search on some of the shade tree ways to remove and install these as everyone has their own preference.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

I bought these bearings with the snap ring. I have Moser ends on my housing, and Moser axles and I could not get the axles to install until I removed the new inner seals from the housing ends. They would hit the seal and push back out a bit. The seals were for sure seated all the way in and they were the very thin bodied seals shown. Just a heads up if you are using a similar combo of parts...

OEM and Moser housing ends are 2.5" long. If the seals are installed all the way in, you should have at least 1/4" between the lock ring and the seal.

Air gets trapped between the inner seal and the wheel bearing O-ring. This often makes people think the axle bottoms out during installation.

I hoped that was it as well, but the ring was making contact with the seal. The seals were installed correctly, and completely seated. I don't know what is different about my set-up, but it is what it is...

I recommend my Green bearing maxi-kit. It includes a pair of snap ring Green bearings, as well as all other gaskets and seals you may need for $85. USPS (Postal) shipping to Canada runs $40.

Please E-mail me for more information

Thanks,
