I know it sounds real wierd but where can i find like 2 or 3 inch fender flares to retro fit onto a 72 dart rear? makin a gasser.

Flares back then were custom made, fabricated from conduit and sheet metal (or from fiberglass).

Other than that if you're looking for ones to bolt/screw on maybe 98-03 Dakota.

Measure your wheel arch, go to the junk yard & starts looking/measuring cars from the 70's/80's. I had a friend I helped with a 68 camaro & he was bound & determined he wanted flares. I told him I wouldn't put the fiberglass one's on so, I think it was about a 73 or so torinos I used. I cut them about 1-1/2 above the break in the fenders. Cut the tops out of his qtrs. & fenders, then trimmed & tacked them to where they looked good, extended the inner panels & when I was done, it looked pretty factory. He got his transam look and they never cracked out. It was also a lot of work!
