Need some reference pics of the A/C brackets on a '70 383, as many and from different angles and sides of engine. All the pics I have, the A/C compressor is in the way and can't see all the details - like the idler pulley and its placement.

My '70 440 with A/C uses some brackets that are similar/same pieces - a few are different parts and need to distinguish from the two to put the water pump housing and pwr steer pump together again in correct places. Thanks Moparts and Moparts members.

This pic is from a 70 Challenger 440 w/AC. Should be mostly configured the same as a 383 except back compressor mounting bracket.

it's a 1969 B-body, but it should be the same or at least very similar

Your welcome ebodyseast. I went through the same thing your going through. I collected pictures from many e and b body cars for future reference. Good luck.

Ronnman - I said it once, can gladly say it again, thanks brother, you should have seen those brackets of mine earlier tonight, they practically jumped into place with the pics you guys presented me for a quick reference.

The '70 440 alternator bracket of mine 'looks' to be different, a 440 is bigger and thus the bracket then possibly needs to be different. Same goes for the 440's compressor mounting brackets to the intake, appears to be different.

Can you two guys sense how much I appreciate you, hope so...

The following alternator brackets are preferred because they provide a very sturdy mount for the alternator. You are correct the rear compresor mount is longer for the 383-400 due to the difference in deck height.
