My son and I building a 70 Hemi Cuda clone. The donor car has manual steering. What all do I need to switch it to power steering? Are there any parts of the manual system I can use such as gear box, steering colume coupler, etc? If you know the correct OEM part numbers please let me know. If not available any good repop items?
I have a power steering pump and braket.

Thanks

The shaft inside your column is too long. Power steering box is larger (and not interchangeable)requires a shorter shaft. Personally I like the manual unit and have it in my 70. And no you don't need guns like Hulk Hogan!

Would a 70 Hemi Cuda have come with manual steering? Was there any other things that a 70 Hemi Cuda wouldor would not have come with if it was/could be ordered with manual steering.

Thank you,
