Here's a question to consider. On my 71 Challenger, I noticed the original convertible top boot is showing it's age with wear, small tears, broken clips, etc. I'm considering replacing it as well as several other original parts to show better. Would it be worth saving the original parts for any reason other than to compare the new parts to? What do most of you do with the old parts? My storage space is at a premium right now. Thanks for some ideas.

To go along with my previous post, I'm buying the parts I need for my cars now as I'll be retiring next year. I've used Dante's and Nick's as they are sponsors on here.I don't see where they sell the boots. I'll need other items such as a top well liner, dashpad and seat covers(for my 74 Charger).Any recommendations if they don't carry these items? Any thoughts on A1Parts? I have NOS grille and headlight bezels for theb Challenger but the originals are great except they need new argent paint sprayed on - any ideas where to get the argent? Thanks for any suggestions? Terry

Concerning your original boot. Absalutely keep it! #1 because it's original, and #2 because the reproduction clips do not do a good job of holding the boot on, they pop off fairly easy. The original clips are not faithfully reproduced (originals have a metal spine, reproductions don't). NOS original clips are near impossible to find and huge money when found, I'd keep an eye out for old original boots with a few good clips and have the old clips sewn into a new boot.

All of the parts you mentioned I carry even though you may not see them on the website.
