Are they all the same?

Put the bracket from my 383 on my new 440 and it is not even close to lining up. Looked in some aftermarket catalogs and they all list the same part #.

Your bracket is bent. The clamp that holds the throttle cable should be horizontal. Just bend it back to line up.

Mmmm. Could be, but I don't think so. Kickdown linkage pivot looks straight up and down.

"Finger" on bracket prevents it from being bent any futher down, and if I bend it up it will just make it worse.

Is there an "RB" bracket?

I can see better in the 2nd pic. You also need a bracket that screws on the the Demon throttle plate. I just used one for a Holley and had to open up one of the holes. Is the intake higher than the stock manifold?

Another option would be to buy a bracket for a high rise manifold. One on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-Cus...sspagenameZWDVW

383 uses a different throttle bracket than a 440. The 440 block is about 3/4 of an inch taller so the intake manifold is wider.

I've had one for a few years and it flat out rules. Nothing else ever needed.

Will the bracket shown in the above post work on any year 440. I need one to put on a 440 going into a 74 challenger? Steve
