Dart 340 OP moparts member D Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 1,195 Snowing in the north!	I have a 70 swinger 340 4 speed that has a pistol grip shift handle installed. I am guessing this is not stock. I'd like to keep the oval shift boot if possible. Has anyone found a shift boot that will work with the pistol grip in the A body oval bolt pattern?

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 74,942 U.S.S.A.	no , it's not stock , the only boot close will be a 70 B body but the shape is different and you'll have to drill some new screw holes , not really a big deal .

The A body boot is kind of oblong anyway isnt it. If it works, that would be best, but I dont want to wreck a new boot.
