Looking for a temporary fix for a sticking lifter until I get a chance to go into the engine. I've heard that Gunk Valve Medic sometimes works since it's a solvent. Anyone here actually try it? Or any others?
Thanks!

I agree - Just before an oil change add a quart of ATF to the oil and run for a few miles and then dump the oil and filter. It will do as much as any additive on the market. even if it overfills the crankcase for that few miles won't hurt anything. Just don't pound on it.

And I also agree but if you are hearing a ticking lifter I really doubt if anything but an actual repair will help your noise. -Bob
