Vehicle in question is my 78 Cordoba. Checked the tranny fluid once and since then I cant get the dipstick to go in all the way. Tried another dipstick out of another 727,and had the same result on the Cordoba. Where does my trouble lie?I dont want to force the dipstick in,what do I do to fix it?

Try turning the stick to different positions. Sometimes they get bent and won't go in but one way.
