My 68 Chargers front 10 in. drum amd hubs are shot. I have a friend who has a complete set of 11 in. drums/backer plates for sale cheap. Will the 11 in. setup swap over to the spindles that held the 10 in. setup or must I change the spindles also?
Thanks MIke

Same spindles. Just swap matching backing plates, drums & hardware.

They should swap, but use the hardware for a 1970 because they had self adjusters, the 1969's and earlier did not have self adjusters.

I just did the swap this morning. Pretty easy and everything seemed to fit fine. Now I just have to wait till my wife gets home to bleed the brakes and off I go for a road test!!

just the fronts over to 11" and left the rears smaller.

Probably wont be as dramatic as converting to front discs and leaving the drums the same! Lots of conversions being done without issues!

The road test is complete on my Charger. The brakes work GREAT! There were absolutely no issues with nose dive or anything else other than the car stops better than it had before!
Thanks all Mike
