redoing a front bucket seat,replacing everything including the burlap, question is where can i find or buy the very thin wire that weaves through the burlap,some of mine where broken or rusted out? are the absolutly nessacery? thanks for any help or direction

I do not know where to buy the two side wires(called lists). I have used coathangar wires as well as 1/8 steel rods purchased from HD or lowes for mine. If doing the back, be sure to get the 48" rods while the seat bottom you can get away with the 36". They cost about $2-3 ea. Be sure to curve the ends away from the new upolstery like the factory did. Hope this helps.

Though not absolutely necessary, I used welding rod. Although my upholsterer said I was way too anal; that they always just used new burlap all doubled up and stretched tightly.

I used several pieces of 1/8" stainless tig wire on my 70 GTX.

you don't need the small wires in the cloth. i just double up with cloth first. ring that in then the foam. you do need the listing wire. they are usally fine but you can make them from 1/8 welding rod.
Lengendary sells the cloth by the yard and use to include enough with a set of covers. better than burlap.
