I ask a performance machine shop about milling my alum stealth heads and they recomended "angle milling" the deck surface and then "squaring" intake surface. Is this a Chevy thing, or an accepted practice? Of all the things that I've seen on head milling, I don't remember seeing anthing about angle milling.
Thanks, Brian

Its more than correcting the intake face. Also could need all the long head bolt holes slotted (the 5 under the valve cover.and all the head bolt washer surface REspotted(machined flat again)And it will lay the head back and MAY need the pushrod holes slotted as well. But you could pickup 2-5 HP.

For that head iam going to say your on a budget and this is a nice way to PAD YOUR BILL.
