Congrats on getting it home Dave
it should make a great fun driver for you

looks like it IS in great condition Ron...

Ron, thanks, it has a lot more room inside than my 32 plymouth and I love the style. Its not going to be over my head and its a perfect learning car for me.

By the way, ehere was an added bonus I didnt know about when I bought it. 489 Case 8 3/4. see how off they mounted it? I will have to research and figure out how to mount it correctly. aND i HAVE NOT YET CHECKED BUT AM HOPING FOR THE SURE GRIP. iT ALSO LOOKS LIKE IT HAS THE BIG BRAKES ON THE REAR. SHOULD i USE THEM OR GO DISC BRAKES ON THE BACK?it was a nice bonus when I arrived. $2K plus $150 in gas to pick er up!

Ron, am I going to need to box this frame or are they heavy enough???? What gauge should I buy if I do? and what type of extra support or braces should I build into it for a small block driver?

Dave you dont have to box that frame, it has a pretty good "X" to it and should be more than strong enough for even a Big Block. you can use the rear springs if you want,
they make the rear shackels and front bushings for them. I used stock springs on my humpback and my brothers 32 ply 4dr but we have since changed my brothers car over to mini truck springs, they are wider and you can use less springs to get the same or better ride

the drum brakes will also work fine in that car but if you really want to going with disc brakes is pretty easy but is costly in my opinion Ron....

MORE PICS:

Its unloaded. Everything is very straight and rust free I am very very happy with it. The only rusty spots are flat stock on the body that are pictured. the fenders, door, ect are all near perfect.

Dave

MANY PICS HERE IF ANY NEEDS ANY REFERANCE SHOTS. Looks like I have most of the original stuff if any one is looking for comparrisons, I can take what ever you need.

Dave

That's going to be a fun one to build. I'll be watching for updates.
