here's mine...although it's more of a street truck.

mild 383 stroker build, managed to squeek out a 505hp on the engine dyno, but realistically it's probably making 475-480 at the crank as it sits inside the truck, and likely only putting 400-ish to the ground.

truck weighs 4200 lbs with me in it.

pretty slow too. 13.9 ET @ 103 MPH. if I get it to hook, it should be low 13s, and if I'm lucky, high 12s.

full street trim, full interior, all stock sheet metal, stock suspension, with hotchkis 2" drop coil springs and 3" drop leaf springs.

4.56 gear'd Detriot true trac in a 9.25" axle, and a TKO-600 5 spd with .64OD make it fun to play with, and still cruise the freeway at leisurely RPMs

Not a Dakota but a Dodge D-50. Leaf springs, home made Caltracs, 315/60 M/T Drag Radials,2950 lbs. 394 small block, pump gas on motor only, so far. 1.34 60 ft.,6.34 @ 109 1/8 mile. Looking for some 6.20's in the up coming good air.

There is a guy named "Hairball " that had his new Dakota at the Monster Mopar event at Norwalk this past weekend. Does anyone have pictures of that truck. It looks fast just sitting still. It's lowered, a slight chop to the top. caged, tubbed, painted white with an orange stripe on the side. It has a stock 360 in it with an aftermarket cam and carb and runs in the 11's. His pit crew are 6 girls and they wear all orange shirts.

The Dark blue Dakota in those pics use to be mine!! sold it before I got to finsh it and Now Im thinking about building another one
