Yeah those look great, I got mine from the same guy on cuda-challenger.com ,Honestly they look pretty decent. I don't know what the others look like to make a judgement. I would love to see the difference in a side by side comparison.

I picked up a couple grips from the Cuda-Challenger seller.

Scott's description is pretty accurate especially on the finish.

The ones from CC are not exact copies in shape and size of the original pistol grip handles.

The pictures below are the CC handles next to original plastic pistol grip handles.

The are a bit wider and have more material where your thumb and the palm of your hand goes.

They fit the shifter handle very well and are tight.

Even though they aren't exact copies, I honestly think the handles sold off CC feel BETTER.

The palm of my hand feels more comfortable resting on the wider CC handles especially in 1st and 3rd gear.

It also feels more secure in my hand.

If you gotta have a perfect copy of an original pistol grip the CC ones are NOT for you, but it your looking for comfort and cool color options the CC handles are nice for the price.

ps.
The grips pictured are light Spalted Maple.

I actually bought 2 pair to try, a light and dark set.
I ended up using the other(darker) set on my Challenger.

I don't know who made mine (or how much I paid), but I had purchased rosewood pistol grips several years ago from a Swap Meet vendor at the Mopar Spring Fling in CA. I finally just got around to replacing the heavily worn, original plastic grips a couple of weeks ago. However, I did have to modify the top and bottom backside carvings a bit with a dremel to get a precise fit, but I'm more than happy with the end result. Stainless flathead screws were included, but I bought some chrome oval head screws to replace them (the original chrome oval screws were not long enough).

Glad you got some Slant, but to give credit where due, I didn't make them myself, I just sold them, The guy who made them was a highly skilled craftsman in Peru (his name is Daniel) who did them as a side job to building beautiful custom guitars. These grips were likely childs play compared to the other work he did. Domingo knows him and was paying him to make them, then he would ship them to me to sell. Pictures don't do them justice, I've never seen thier equal before or since.

Thanks for the heads up regarding IdleHandswoodwork.com. I have been trying to find a set of genuine wood Hurst Pistol Grips for over 6 years now. Professional firearms wooden grips makers just flat out refused. I found 3 craftsmen who tried however the resulting fit and finish were terrible. One even put screws in both the right and left grip. My last hope had been Gunslinger, however he just continually made excuses, "My router needs rewiring, my router is still too loud," etc.

I ordered a set in Black Walnut from Nick Tambakis at Idle Hands Woodwork in January. The hand crafted grips arrived today and far exceeded my expectations. I also selected Nick's option of securely attaching the grips without screws!

Thanks again,

Tim

I bought a set for my Super Bee. Second car down from top:

The pictures don't do them justice. I wanted something custom, but not over the top. The grips came out incredible, exceeded my expectations. Nick is great to work with, communicates well and does awesome work.

Prices vary on the type of wood and the complexity of the custom order. My grips totaled $185.00 which were a bargain considering the finished product.

John,
No they are held together with rare earth magnets. On Nick's website the E5 grips are mine, and I have had absolutely no problems with the grip halves moving in any way. To remove them you can slide a credit card between the grip and shift lever and they come right off.

John
