My new mill has cometics as well. However I read in a recent post that the mls Mr Gasket gaskets appear to be exactly the same as the cometics and it was suggested that they were in fact made by cometic but were priced around $20 a piece less. May be worth looking into

I made that post, the Mr Gasket MLS nitril coated gaskets are Cometics I used the 4.410 bore size and the .041 thick gaskets. 1969dart, you do need to make sure that the finish on the block deck surfaces and the head surfaces are a 10 RA or smoother If not they may leak water around the water ports and out of the motor Been there done that on the first set of Cometics I used on a 426 Hemi motor several years ago BTW, the instructions with the gaskets say to not use any coatings on them, put them on dry, I did Maybe after using them once you might want to spray them with something They are three layers of stainless steel gaskets rivited together
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
