When going to an external oiling system, do I need to plug the oil pick up tube port in the crank case? Any thing else that I should be on the look out for with this system? I have a dual line swinging pick up, but I'm only planing to use a single line to the pump cover. Can I just plug off the other outlet from pick up?

Thanks, Brian

you can plug the hole in the block where the oilpick up would be

I have a milidon duel setup, took off the plate and made it a single oilline setup

and used the stock length oil pump drive

I did use a 1/2 pipe plug to close the pickup off on the inside of the block, it does need to be plugged(if it is a non race 426 or Hemi block)on every B-RB or Hemi block if you don't use the stock pick up with the Milidon external systems

It's a stock 440 block. Ok to just put a pipe plug in the bottom where pick up tube would be?
Thanks, Brian

You can also use a small welsh plug(freeze plug) in the block as already mentioned, it will go in the hole from the pickup under the pump, that works also, but I trust the pipe plug with thread locker more

I used a pipe plug where the pickup went and a core plug under the pump ! No wonder my junk is so heavy LOL
