I have this to built on 400Magnum engine to my 74 Charger, raising compresion to around 9.5 with pistond and heads job. Rest is stock with 166K converter. 3.55 SG... watching porting the heads with Mopar templates. Summit SUM-G6604 timming chain http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM%2DG6604&autoview=skuMP P4452783 cam MP P4452993 cam Useage... POWERED street use, able to use A/C without problems. When I mean powered I mean I want to feel the power diff beside just raise compression... and I don't care sligthly sloppy iddle as far I can use the A/C. 3 votes each member available in case you think couple of options will work in similar way. If so, please post about.

Data on other manufacturers' cams is from their catalogs or contributed from owners. Duration @ .050” valve lift shown in the tables is 85% (.850) of nominal for high-performance cams, and 77.7% (.777) of nominal for OEM cams, per Chrysler. Duration @ .050” lift figures should only be used for comparison between MP cams. In some cases, more (potentially) accurate duration @ .050” figures appear as "Notes", with the source or author in parentheses. Cam timing figures listed are as installed on Chrysler-recommended centerlines. Cams may be installed in any position. Generally, advancing or retarding the cam rotates all cam events simultaneously in one direction. The event most affected by these changes is the intake valve closing point ABDC ("After Bottom Dead Center"). Advancing the cam closes the intake valve earlier, increasing cylinder pressure in the low to mid-range, and reducing peak power. Retarding the cam closes the intake valve later, which reduces low to mid-range power (and may reduce pinging), but potentially improves peak power. Lobe Separation Angle is fixed, and cannot be changed. In mechanical-lifter (solid & roller) cams slight adjustment can be made to Overlap & Total Duration by minor changes in valve lash. Non-standard lash settings are recommended for test purposes. Crane suggests +.004" & -.008" (adjusted from manufacturer's suggested hot settings) as maximum limits for continuous use. Increasing lash will increase cylinder pressure at low to mid-range speeds, close the intake valve sooner, and reduce Overlap & Total Duration. The effect is slightly similar to advancing the cam. Too much lash increases wear on all components, lowers maximum RPM, and increases the possibility of breakage. Reducing lash will do the opposite: reduced cylinder pressure at low to mid-range speeds, later intake valve closure, and increased Overlap & Total Duration. The effect is slightly similar to retarding the cam. Too little lash may result in a valve (especially an exhaust valve) not seating completely when the engine temperature rises (such as a full-throttle 1/4 mile pass).

nice... th's what I'm looking for, the borderline on perf camshaft on a street car
are you considering rest of given specs, right ? stock manifold, exhaust and carb... 166K conv and 425 heads job trying to get 9.5 CR with KB240 pistons

This cam will work with the stock exhaust,intake,and carb.I would consider rejetting the carb a little richer. An aftermarket intake,carb,and headers will really wake this combo up but it will work well with the stock pieces.If I changed only one thing it would likely be the carb first.A holley 750 vacuum secondary would be my first choice.Follow that with an rpm intake and some headers and it will be a strong runner.

I'd vote for none of the above... If your set to put a MP cam in. Look at the .528 mechanical otherwise look at the smaller Lunati VooDoos.
If your looking to keep things more stock, Talk to Bob K. Mr. Sixpac about his Sixpack cam. Little more money but a truly nice cam. Based on the original low tapper sixpac cam in the real A-12 engines. I run one in my 383 idles like a new yorker pulls like a freight train. Designed for Pure Stock drag series. He has 440+6 b-bodies running deep in the 12's with a basicly stock cam and 4.10's

two reasons: firts and most important I already have those camshafts in hands, no more money to buy another one right now so I have to play with what I already have second... weell yes I'm trying to keep my car like a Mopar as far is posible... is a Mopar right ? if wasn't because not too much pistons options ( specially from MP ) and summit timming chain is HALF OF PRICE of the MP one, I was to get MORE MP STUFF... ( yes I'm nuts ) BTW, yes I like that Comp cam, but likes more the next one ... 274 so, explained this, please keep voting
