Then use two 3/8 bolts to act like jack screws and pry the pump off evenly. Without the 5/16 studs you may deform the case threads. Garth this is how I do mine. HPMike master H Joined: May 2005 Posts: 6,446 NJ-USA	I have a pump puller, but rarely use it(on TF's anyway). Grab the stator support with one hand and and tap the edge of the bellhousing with a plastic 3 lb deadblow with the other. Pump pops right off- been doing like that for years. MB
