Ray built a pro stock engine...well, a pro stock Truck engine to be exact. It was in 1998 for Tom Parham's daughter,Sondra Sikes.

I owned one of Sondra's Pro Stock truck motors from 02 to 05. Ran L/AA comp trim, 357ci, with a PG and 2850 wet. 8.82@ 155 best. Sounded like a bumble bee at speed. The guys at PRP would take OFF their headphones to hear the sweet sound it made. Never won a race with it though. HJ

i thought about this post i seen on my way to work this morning for some reason,,,,, jim daniels always says hi to me,, to my brother,, is nice in his personality,, he is one of the "good guys" in the class. why would you say something like that? you know all these guys have feelings, families, etc.. why insult them for nothing but to stir things up or to knock someone down. we all work hard and spend money in this class,, some work harder than others or spend more than others,, but racing your hemi car isnt a measure of your personal worth, integrity, or people skills...

I agree. Check out my post on Jim Daniels good guy, of just one instance. Another was at this years Dutch Classic where I watched him setting at the head of the lanes, straped in and already with his helment and gloves on moments before the final, having a conversation with a young boy about his car. Most guys would have shooed the guy away but Jim actually waved him closer and shook his hand when he saw him admiring his car.

I was standing there Frito. If my memory is correct the kid was in a wheel chair. That was 1 class act on Jim's part. He is 1 of the best guys out here. Chuck

I've spoken to Jim at the Dutch before. Always very nice and answered my questions. I also like the fact how he has his son involved with the race car. I've seen his son right there with him helping with the car.

I have met JIM DANIELS acouple of years ago just talking about the the shoot out and now if he sees me he aways saya something to me even though he does not know my name and he has aways been a stand up guy to me and the love he has for his son. you have to talking about another person that most of dont know
