I'm swapping a 360 into my 70 dart, which is a former slant 6 car. I'm going to use the schumacher mount kit and was wondering if I'm going to have to get a drop center link. Or is that just for the early a-bodies?

Thanks for any info.

You should be fine on the 70 model.

should already have the dropped center link. prepare to do ALOT of shimming on the
mounts to get the alignment right.

I dropped a 360 in a demon using those mounts and didn't have to shim at all. It dropped right in perfectly. The power steering line coming out of the back of the Saginaw pump hit the K frame, and I had to trim the point off the frame with a grinder.

If the 360 came out of a truck, the pan won't work.

I already have a pan to replace the truck style one that's on my 360. It came from a early 70s C-body according to the number on it.

Thanks for the info. Mopar parts are hard to come by in my neck of the woods here in NE Georgia. And the guys who have mopar stuff around here tend to hoard it and ask for a king's ransom for anything. They are never willing to part out stuff either.

*still want that 69 Charger that's in the junkyard in Lavonia*

Thanks again for the info.
