Since no one got any photos of my car at Norwalk I got ahold of the photo place and ordered a set.
This is the first time my car has done this and it felt Awesome. All my passes at Norwalk were like these 2 photos. It felt Great and it was a Fun ride every pass. I made 10 passes that weekend with a best all motor pass of 10.20 at 132 and a NOS pass from second gear till the end of the 1/4 with a new best of 9.39 at 144.
I want to make a couple more NOS passes with me hitting it off the line this time yet this year if possible.

Since I was in the staging lanes at the same time, I didn't get to watch you run. Great photos. With nitrous off the line, you may need some new parts. How is that tire and fender?

The tire made it's own clearance so we have to be Good to Go now right Dave?? LOL

It is a Sport Satellite though. The car was made into a RR before I bought it in 1989 and I didn't have and could NOT find the S.Satellite trim so a RR look a like it stayed.

Yes it was a 250 shot and it was from second gear thru the traps as stated. I have all of first gear yet to gain somemore ET. I did play with the NOS on my old motor and each step up in jets gained me .2 in the 1/4 so I will probably step it up again.
I have been using the jets that are recommended in the big shot kit for my passes but I know there's more to be GAINED if I would alter their recommendations. I just am Not sure what a GOOD stagger would be for the 300 jets for my application.

Any Recommencations from some NOS user???
I do have an e-mail in to Monty for some assistance. Hopefully I get an answer before I go racing this sunday.

For Bondo Bob's question Dennis traded the S-10 this summer for a 71 Nova that needs put together so there will be no race against Dennis. I will try and beat his 9.01 pass if I can though!!!

If all goes WELL and the weather stays Good there should be a NEW BEST coming SOON.
I will let you guys know what happens after it happens.

We had both cars at Norwalk this year. She ran an 11.02 4 passes back to back still with the street tires and the exhaust on her RR.
It has been a long time coming but we finally got to race both cars together a few times this year.
We were at the CC in columbus, The Nats, Milan mopar day race, and the CC at Norwalk.
Take care and get that new car done.

Good looking ride

Well just an update:
I went to Milan and had a new best 60' at 1.39 and a couple 1.41 times. 1.44 was average at Norwalk CC event.

Ran a New N/A best of 10.14 and 10.17 at 132.35 on both passes.

Ran a New NOS best of 9.31 at 139 letting off because something wasn't right and missing.
Old NOS run was 9.39 at 144.54 and that was thru 2 gears only.
I have to look at all the time slips from Norwalk and Milan and compare #'s.

BAD NEWS is on my 2nd NOS pass something didn't feel right in the burnout box. It had a vibration as I was doing the burnout. (Didn't make the pass)
I got home and checked it out, passenger side #4 cyl wasn't showing the same heat in the pipes with temp gun.
Pulled the valve cover and I now have a pushrod shoved thru the top of my lifter. It is in there about 1/4" I believe and it is stuck Good.
Cam and everything else looks Good though so I will talk to Mike at Graham perf engines and see what my options are. Maybe I will race 1 more time yet, maybe I won't. Cross my fingers and Hope it all is Good to change parts and try again.

Well I had some Luck and everything is Good so all I need to do is replace the lifters and put it all back together.
If the parts show up and the weather is Nice I should be making somemore pass this sunday at Milan.
