have a problem with a 72 challenger car wont start good starter good coil.I jumped out the safety nutural switch and when i put the key in the start position nothing but when i let go of the key it starts but this is backwards should start when you turn the key to the start position (ignition parts are all brand new)without jumping out the safety it wont start.

check to see what the voltage reading is at both sides of the ballast.

Maybe your ignition switch is worn-out/bad?

cheched out ballast green wire with red strip 10.41v double brown 4.52v blue 10.36v black10.36v

what is wired wrong ? had no problem with the car has started every time with no problems till now

Ill say it again.Just because its new dosent mean its good.Check to see that when in crank it has power to the relay.That and make sure it is powering the ballast when its cranking.Rocky
