My buddy wants to install an RV plug into his chrome bumper. How hard is the chrome and metal to drill into? The plug needs a 2-1/8" hole so it'll be with a hole-saw and hand drill...

I've drilled into them before and it won't be a problem. The chrome is thin and the metal soft so it can be formed.

This is on that Survivor Hemi Cuda isn't it.

Good grief, why not just make/buy a bracket?? Make sure he seals the hole edges or rust will start eating away under the chrome fast.
