Bought a transmision from a guy that claimed it had a shift kit installed. I pulled the pan and there looks to be drilled holes in the valve body however I'm curious to find out exactly what kit it is. Are their instructions out on the web for different shift kits so I might be able to get an idea? I know its a stretch but I figured I'd try. The guy I bought it from had no idea either.

Might checkout the transgo & B&M sites & see if their instructons/mods are online & see if it matches up to what has been done.

If the steel separator plate isn't bare steel (colored gold or silver) it's a "plate kit".
