I have 69 Polara with 383 2B V8. According to decoder, code D32 shows i have H-D A-727 TorqueFlite Trans / Some Years A-998 . I though its TF727 but on the case of the transmission, on passenger side, is number 754-7. What transmission do i have?

A727 is a small block. B727 is a big block. All 383 440 cars that year are 727

All big block autos were 727s as others mentioned. It may have "A-727-B" on the side somewhere which was the designation for "B" engines. Small block 727s were "A-727-A" for the "A" engines.
