I found an engine block that is supposed to be a 360 that has been fully machined and ready for assembly. The price is right and I need to know foor sure what it is. There is a casting number on the block above the starter 3614230-2. There are no other raised castings that I could see. The block is wrapped in plastic and coated with grease in the corner of the guys shop. Is this enough info to ID what this block is? I want a 360 to put in my sons 79 stepside 4wd to replace the 318 it has now.

It's just a block with main caps. No other internal or external parts but I can have it for $100

Bring it home... Just the thing for a future stroker project...

Look at the main webs.. They are all good but the best ones have thicker main webs... I borrowed these pictures from 440 Source..

Normal web

Thick web..
