In paying particular attention to the rear bumper of 69 and 70 Newports/300's and 70 Hurst 300's - I notice that some Hurst's have the straight bumper (from the side view) and other's have the angled bumper (side view). And I find conflicting photo's of 69 and 70 Newports/300's with each type of bumper - the real question here is: Do 1970 Hurst's have the straight or angled bumper??

Thanks,

Ron

A lot of people tried to make reg. 300's into a Hurst. Becareful out there.

All 1970 Chrysler C-bodies had a rollpan under the rear bumper. The 1969's did not.

Yeah what Stan said.
69 and 70 are different AND different again between models.
You may have better luck interchanging with a 71 bumper.
Here's a nice Hurst...

In 1970, for example, teh Newport and NY front bumpers have turnsignals, while the 300 does not.

Parts I seek: driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set 16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better. 69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields Send a PM.

Call me weird, but lately I've been thinking more and more about dumping the e-body in favor of one of these... Sweet!

Until total honesty is on the table, we're not even talking about reality...

I could never AFFORD an E-body is why I'm venturing into the C-body world- I need a sweet ride for my complete 70 6-pack engine and I'm wanting to build either a Hurst or a Sport Fury!
