Recently had some major flooding in Ga. Trans and smallblock under water for about 3 hours. What to do to save?

dump out as much water as you can. hose the whole thing down with WD-40.

Did water get in? is it taken apart?

completely under water? or just submerged.

I feel for you...we've been pretty fortunate, but my sump pump runs every 40 seconds...

, if it was just rainwater; if it was saltwater (I live in a low lying coastal area) than unless you rinsed it with freshwater and coated it in light oil immediately, its done

Sorry have not responded sooner. Cleaning up lots of mud. Water did get in and silt as well. Will pull heads flush out and douse with WD40. Any thought on the trans? Engine was complete and running, trans was attached. May be a good time to upgrade heads and intake. Any suggestions? Thanks!
