I have a 70 challenger number matching 340 6 pack car with a dual point distributor. My problem is the diaphragm in the cannister is ruptured. Does anyone know where a new, nos or used cannister with a good diaphragm can be found. All help would be appreciated. THANKS, ROGER

Junkyards, Mopar Swap meets, EBay, Mopar Performance Outlets and Car Dealers, some regular or specialty autoparts stores.

You can test a "used" one with a hand-operated vacuum-pump available at autoparts stores.

I believe it is considered a "normal wear" type part, so replacements should be (somewhat) commonly available.

I searched Summitracing, "Mopar Vacuum Advance Canister" and this came up:

Mallory (Mopar?) Vacuum Canister

I had mine rebuilt. It works like new.
It is not an easy piece to find NOS, or even used.
If you need the info, I can find the company's name.
