does anyone know the part #or correct size of the alternator belt on a 68 charger with a 440

do you have p/s a/c.? it shouldnt be to hard for the local parts store to look up.

Unless your car is 100% original, the best bet is to take the old one with you to the parts store and they can match it.
OR,
look for the number on the belt you currently have, they are usually easy to read even if the belt is shot...

I went back and forth 3 times because of this. I didn't have an old one (new engine) so I took a rope with me instead, said I need a alt belt this lenght
