i had refused to get a electric winch in the past and stick with the hand crank 1.i ended up getting 1.there was 1 on sale at summit and as long as i was spending big bucks on carbs i gave in.it was 1/2 off at 65$ for a 2500lb single line T max.see even i give in now and then.so sorry for giving a hard time for the insistant 1's on the board.

Hand crank..... you'll be a happy camper the first
time you need the winch. I use a cheapo and use to use
it all the time(I winched the car in backwards) now
days I just drive straight in

Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

My dad can get in and by opening the door and he's bigger than I am. Not sure how he compares to you though but it's at least worth a try.

If you haven't tried already that is

alot has to do with the bars in the car. I have seen huge guys get in and out when I never thought it would be possible. I have seen small guys get stuck.....LOL

thats a great deal on the winch, is it power in and power out?

i need to check on that.it has a 2 way switch though.
edit: nothing in there about extension just retraction.it has a free wheel knob to release cable when not pulling or taught.
