Im buy a 70 mustang for my son the cars in great shape however its been sitting in a garage unstarted since 91, can I pour marvel and maybe some tranny fluid into the cylinders turn it over by hand let it sit for a few days, prime the oil pump rebuild the carb then try to start it?

we picked up a dart /6 from the original owner it sat 14 years, cleaned the tank changed the oil made shure the carb dint leek and turned it over without the coil wire and valve coover to see if it was oiling, started it bt two valves where stuck so we pounded them with a mallot till they where free and the car ran graet. Id say why not ,good luck BOB
