After making another mess pulling a pan full of tranny fluid, I was wondering why drain plugs weren't put in from the factory???

Any harm in putting in one of the aftermarket drain plugs from B&M or others? Any tips on where to drill or not to drill? What about a magnet?

I know it's just something else to leak, but I was thinking about putting one in for next time...

Thanks!

IMO .. those B&M plugs are not worth a DAMN. The best shot is to buy the deep pan and be done with it.

I prefer the cast alum one.
