Theyre but ugly. And a lot of mopar scoops are ugly too. Of course if someone wants to put one on there car it is their car and they can do what they want. If they like it they should do it, but they are still ugly

I'd guesstimate it's due to 2 things. The aforementioned forward facing hoodscoop rule (NMCA, Milan, etc), and the fact that a cowl hood matches more body styles without looking like total garbage. A perfect example is most any year Charger- I don't like how 6 pack scoops look on them at all, but a 4" cowl looks fine.

Billy, just for the record, I'm the new owner of your "cousins" Cuda. The 6" cowl hood was too small so it's already off! With my tunnel ram and 2 1050 dominators the carbs were too close to the hood. Instead I'm hoping to use a Pro stock style hood scoop (ie similar to DTHEMI's). But if it doesn't work out I'm upgrading to an 8" cowl scoop from AAR Quality Fiberglass just for you
