Anybody know who custom makes them? Anybody got a couple fourteen inchers that are widened but will fit within the rear fender wells?

I have made my own in the past, but the outers are hard to get. Nobody seems to want to let on who the supplier is. Does anybody here know?

I have two 14 x 7 small bolt pattern rallye wheels manufactured by Wheel Vintiques that I bought from Summmit Racing Equipment about 1 1/2 years ago. I painted them black and mounted 2 MT 24 x 8.5 x 14 slicks on them and used them for bracket racing my Valiant last year. The tires are now worn out, but the wheels are like new, except that they are painted black. I will sell them to you at 1/2 the price that I paid for them, as I no longer need them as I bought a set of 15 x 8 whels when I moved my leaf springs inboard. The 14 x 7 wheels will bolt right on a stock Duster, Dart, Valiant etc. Send me a private message or call me at 336-471-8246 if you are interested in them. I have some photos of them on my Valiant also.

Yes, I'm sure somebody does. What I did after Wheel Vintiques blew me off was to go to Western Chrome/Wheel, also here in Fresno. they had quoted me something around $80/wheel to change the outers to 15x10. I couldn't quite come up with that for four wheels so I asked if they would sell me the outers so that I could build my own. They were more than happy to do that, BUT they didn't have any in stock and couldn't just get four, SO they called Wheel Vintiques (apparently the WV guys learned the wheel business at Western) and they were willing to sell Western the four outers. The guy at Western told me I could have them for $35/each, which means he probably paid around $20/each and you can figure what WV likely paid for them.

That's why nobody wants to let loose of the info. These things ARE cheap by the pallet. Whoever sells them by the pallet doesn't advertise anywhere I have found either.

From what I gathered when I did this there are two common center diameters for 14" and 15" wheels. As I recall Mopars use a 12-1/4" center (but, don't quote me on that, measure your own).

I know they make outers down here in So Cal. I see the truck on the freeways with steel and aluminum outer from time to time. Lots of aftermarket rim companies around here.

I met a company that sell the equiptment to form outer shells at the IMTS Manufacturing show in Chicago 10+ years ago. His stuff was German made and the company was in So Cal.

I wonder if OzHemi knows a source??

Also what about Curt McKim on this message board, goes by the board name McWheel? He is located in the Midwest (maybe Iowa) and made up wide SBC wheels for a very good price.
