do you have to install the probe for a wide band sensor close to the manifolds or can you get an accurate reading with them in the tail pipe? just don't want to hack up the TTI exhaust.

I am going to install mine right behind the collector in the tail pipe. I don't want to ruin my ceramic coated headers.

MIne is right after the collector and seems to work fine as well.

Widebands sensors will work in any part of the exhaust assuming there are no leaks. They do not need to be close to the engine like narrow band sensors. Sticking them up the tailpipe can produce false readings unless you use a special adapter that Innovate sells.

I'd just drill into the pipe and weld a bung on.
