I have a 1979 dodge W150 swb PALOMINO. It was an odd-ball truck, as it was fairly loaded up, but came from the factory with a 4spd and no a/c. Attached is a pic of the window sticker. It is in the process of a restoration, and I have added factory a/c to it allong with the big bolt pattern axles to it with the 5 slot wheels. The VIN is as follows.... W14JT9S195981. This truck came out a Wrecking Yard in Northern CA, and I am glad that I saved her!! I have a couple of these trucks now, and am getting another PALOMINO from VA that is also a 4wd.

thank you sir, kinda curious why it's all light blue. i have never seen a med blue/light blue w/that paint procedure. bet it looks sweet.
i will adjust the codes and send them back to you.

I primered the truck light blue about 2 yrs ago because the surface was starting to rust.I remember when my grandfather drove the truck and the 2tone paint was nice, I plan on repainting it to original color when I find the trim that separates the two colors( about 3-4 inches down the frt. fender and runs frt. to back to the top of the tail light). Gotta say I'm a superbee fan, been restoring my bee for 6 yrs now, but you guy's are getting me excited about the trucks. Can't wait to start the truck restoration. One question for you, do you think I should go with a 440 or keep it original with the 360 2bbl?
Also, Old Blue, my ramcharger, and the Bee are
on the picture page 3

Hey machoman,
Getting back to you on the macho truck i put in your registry. The truck was a factory short bed. The truck had all its factory paint on it when we purchased from Chuck Peirce in New Hampshire(A well known mopar restorer). As for pictures all i have is pictures of it after the restoration. My brother painted it all black and put 79 decals on it. That was back in 1996 when we knew nothing about these trucks and how rare they were. We sold the truck in 1999. Now it's in the Mass. area and i cant seem to find it. I still have alot of the paperwork on the truck and even ran the vin# at the police station to see if i could find it. No luck! If i ever find this truck again I would redo it the right way with the silver and black macho sceme and put the right year macho decals on it. The truck had a nice body with really nice black interior. The sunroof was broke and leaked so we siliconed it in.

Original 440 Truck, now has SB setup
A/C, PS, PB

Dont really know if its a Custom or Adventurer, but I believe its an Adventurer because it has Chrome around the taillights and has A/C.

My '72 4x4 LWB:

W14AF2S562***

360-2, Green on green
4-spd Granny gear
205 part time transfer
8 3/4 rear, D-44 front

3.55 gears most likely

I have a 1978 Dodge Macho Powerwagon. 318 2bbl (for now)727 with np203 transfercase. Dana 44 front and I think 8.25 rear with 3.55 gears. Pretty much stock at this point. I started the restore 2 years ago and finally its coming to a close. The original color scheme was orange and black with black interior. I'm keeping the interior but the exterior will be solid orange. It now has 33x12.50 tires and aftermarket wheels. I found it sitting in southern Indiana for $600 bucks. I've also located a dodge junkyard in southern Indiana if anyone is interested. Also in case someone wasn't aware the military used these trucks for years it was known as the m880. www.saturnsurplus.com has lots of parts for these trucks at really good prices. Love the thread!

I have a 1978 Big Block Crewcab Shortbed 3/4 ton pickup and a 74 D100 318/727 Long bed 8 3/4 truck I will get info this weekend. Both are for sale if anyone is looking....

The Crewcab's info is 1978 Big Block Crewcab Shortbed 3/4 ton, Engine unknown had 440 in it before I got it (I presume that's what came in it and have no idea how to find out).

Pics are here for now...
http://www.cdwmotorsports.com/Vehicles-For-Sale.htm

VIN number D26BJ8S277895
outside color Green
interior color Green
transmission 727
front and/or rear axle size Dana 60
gear ratio unknown

any extra cost options(Adv SE, tach, tuff wheel, paint procedure, wheels etc...)

If the truck still has the underhood equiptment label, i would like those codes.

If the truck still has the radiator support tag (commonly known to car guys as fender tag) the info off those.

original 360, 727, now 318, 4.10 gears (the thing hates the freeway ), A/C, power Disc brakes, long bed, cruise control, monotone tan, dual gas tanks (if anyone can find me a lower tank, i would appreciate it. mine leaks when too much gas is in it.), power steering. it still has the underhood sticker, but it is pretty hard to read. i would post a pic, but it is illegible. sorry.

ok, here is another odd ball truck.....
1980 macho power wagon. it is in a wrecking yard, and was hit hard on the right front. It is a fairly basic power wagon, here is the equipment that I saw that it has.....
318 4bbl
auto transmission
dual tanks
had tach
and that was what I could see of it. I did grab the underhood plate off of it, and here are the numbers.....
019153 W1 115 CONV CAB S6
PY8805 PZ4011 PXY
W14JEAS119035 HG077101

This is a factory "IMPACT BLUE" macho power wagon!! Interesting huh..

here is another interesting find.....
1978 trailduster sport 440. This one has been in the wrecking yard for about 15 years now, and was a super nice rig when I first saw it. It was a roll over, and was also low mileaged too. All that is left of it is the roof and front clip. Here is the info off of the underhood tag.......

This was a blue and white 2-tone trailduster that was loaded up.

This registry is for Dodge trucks from 1972-1980. I currently have over 350 trucks in my database. I also include the 1970-1971 Dude package trucks, 1981 W150 and Ramcharger Macho package trucks as well as the 1987/1990 Rod Hall package trucks.
Of course, the staple trucks are invited too. That being the Lil Red Express, Warlocks, Machos, Palominos, Big Horns and True Spirits.

I take any and all information on any truck from this era. So if you have a 1975 regular cab Custom D100 slant 6 w/no options shoot me what ya got.
This is what I would need:
VIN number: A10BD8S273817
outside color: A2 metallic silver
interior color: blue
transmission: 727
front and/or rear axle size: Dana 44 and 9 1/4
gear ratio: 3.55:1
any extra cost options(Adv SE, tach, tuff wheel, paint procedure, wheels etc...): SE, cruise control, A/C, factory 100 amp alt., bucket seats with console and heavily restified by me.

If the truck still has the underhood equiptment label, i would like those codes.

If the truck still has the radiator support tag (commonly known to car guys as fender tag) the info off those.

I would appreciate any and all info. You can be completely anonymous or give out your name and such.

Ask me my opinion of Frank Mitchell....... A Mopar crook!

Ok I have a 78 LRT that is low optioned but does have suregrip 3.55s. Never restored and is my daily driver 80 miles round trip. It gets 15 MPG @ 65MPH. It has 220K miles. Vin is D13BS8J517224. I am the second owner and the orignal owner has past on to the great Mopar Heaven. He said that the engine has never been out but the Vin dont match the engine number. The engine build dates on all the parts are from 1978. Add this one to the list. My son is working on a 66 LWB Poly 318/A727 but its not in your years. DaveJ
