I took a close look at the engine compartment wiring harness and decided it's time to make a new one or purchase a new harness. Where can I get the single lug female connectors? Is anyone selling repro engine harnesses? Thanks Moparts!

go to google type in "evans wiring". i just bought one from them nand was very happy with it. but once others see this, they will probably say bad things about them. but my cousin and a few friends have bought stuff from them and been happy w/ it.
Get the connectors from NAPA and make your own. I have the numbers for the connectors but not here. Its sooo simple.
Oh one other thing. If you dont have to be "correct" you can run the alt and dist wires along the fender and get them off the hot motor.

If you are looking for the forward engine and forward lamp harness for your '66, Year One is the only place to get it. Evans does not tell you but, they sell only half the harness.
In addition the difference in quality between a YO and Evans harness is substantial.
Amazing how an unchallenged lie can become the absolute truth.

I've re-built a few of my own harnesses, that are much better than factory (better wiring, and crimped solder connections).
As far as the male/female spade terminals...you can find them at NAPA, but you pay an arm and a leg for a few. There is nothing special about those terminals....the Chrysler spade terminals and GM terminals look almost identical (Packard 59's). I have a lot of GM terminals on my bulkhead connectors, that look stock, but can handle a little more load.
Here is a tip.... Call Terminal Supply co. 1-800-989-9632. Order their 280 page catalog and salivate over all their terminals and connectors. Yup...they have a lot of hard to find Chrysler ones.

Gotta love the inside track to the tricks. Thanks!

Went by the NAPA store in San Jose couple weeks ago and the guy had a box full of them so I bought a few extras for my tool box... NAPA 725145 - connector, male crimp, spade NAPA 725147 - connector, female crimp, socket I was surprised when the guy said "$0.59 apiece" for the male connectors; I think I saw'em on the NAPA website for $0.75 each.
