I have had this car almost 23 years. It has always had a (yuck) black engine compartment. I had it painted in 97 and it was B5 blue instead of QQ1. Now it is finally painted the correct color!! I am so happy!!! Now the assembly will begin!!

Thanks. It was painted wrong in 97, and I wrecked it in 01. I have been driving around primered and blue since then. It looks MUCH better now!!!

Looks really good. Hard to tell in the pic but is it a painted top car or Vinyl top car? Nothing like that fresh paint smell.

Thanks for all the comments. I have been trying to find a painter that I could trust with my car for about 5 years. I finally found this guy and the car is getting done.

Here is a picture Sunday when it got to my house safely. It is now nestled in the garage with no front end under it. Cleaning, powder coating, then re-assemble front end with engine from underneath.
