toplescuda OP I Whine T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,844 poplar bluff mo.	i have 16"ele fan on my stock 440 i can fire it up and it gets warm pretty quick i started it tonight(after dark) and it got to 145 in bout 2 mins course that was setting in the drive way i had just changed the 440 from a 340 and it did fine with the 340 what is a safe temp with a stock 440? 1970 barracuda convert. 1 of 59 1970 pro street A.A.R. clone (panther pink) 1971 charger 2015 hellcat challenger. I run a fixed fan and it keeps my 440 at thermostat temp during most driving but does slowly creep up a little during hot day stop and go driving. I would only start to get concerned once the temp topped 205-210.
