sweet...I'm suprised there isn't valve clearance issues from the small 3.4" bore....
always wondered if you could mod some 3.3/3.8 heads to put on one

That's NUTS! Wonder what he did for the cam? I always thought the 2.0/2.4L head would be a good choice. I know they can be put on the 2.2/2.5L family, which shares some of it's design with the /6... I cringe to think of the hours that went into that job!

Not sure about the cam but the work he did to modify the rockers is pretty cool as well.
Photos of this first showed up on the slantsix.org site in Jan of 08. It all looked like mock up and theory back then. But looking at these photos, he has gasket sealer on and what appears to be a bit of carbon blowby above the exhaust for the 3rd cylinder from the rear of the engine leading me to believe he has actually fired this thing over.
He goes by heckshemi on the slant board and was kinda surprised to see the cylinder bore shots on the web as he hadnt previously posted them it sounds like. It might be getting interesting for the slant six crowd in the near future.
