should be the same

when I switched from rear drum to disc, it was 50 pounds lighter,
and its in a good place to loose some weight

Just have to make sure the bearings are the same...

I did the swap a few yers ago and saved 50 lbs also. I bought the narrowed 83/4 out of a friends Dart when he went to a Dana, I bought the kit for an 83/4 not knowing they put MW ends on the rear so I had to have a machinist/friend machine the caliper bracket to fit over the bearings. I also had to have him open up the holes in the hats to fit 5/8 studs.

The Wilwood kits are based on what bearings are on the axles.
8-3/4" Mopar / Dana 60 (Green Bearing) 2.36" 140-0260
8-3/4" Mopar / Dana 60 (Green Bearing-Snap Ring)
2.36" 140-5255
8-3/4" Mopar / Dana 60 (Green Bearing-Snap Ring)
2.50" 140-8853

I added a wilwood kit to my dana. All I had to do is change my bearings to the green bearing. Just look at the sizes and you'll be fine. I they dont fit just get the right bearing and they will fit.

thats right, I had to use the green bearings with snap ring,
the aerospace kit uses that type.
