I did the swap a few yers ago and saved 50 lbs also. I bought the narrowed 83/4 out of a friends Dart when he went to a Dana, I bought the kit for an 83/4 not knowing they put MW ends on the rear so I had to have a machinist/friend machine the caliper bracket to fit over the bearings. I also had to have him open up the holes in the hats to fit 5/8 studs.
