Looking for a way out of Middl...
I am wanting to add road lamps to my 70 Barracuda.

I am not willing to sell my home for OEM repops and I had heard that the 65-68 musktank fog lights will fit. Also if you cut the bar off of the front bezel they are supposed to look like OEM mopar and for a street car that's OK by me.

For $50-60 a pair it's the way I want to go.

Has anyone done this?

They list the housings as being different in 68 but the bezels are the same. Anyone know which one to get- 65-67 or 68?

Best prices on the light housings?

Here's what you want...

Mustang Road Lamps

They are a pain to cut off those bezels but use a dremel tool and take your time. Remember the spot where you cut them off will not be chrome but its hardly noticable.

Attached is a set on my old 'Cuda. Just buy the correct mounting brackets for your car.

Find the company that makes those lamps, they also make them without the cross bar for the same price.

Amazing how an unchallenged lie can become the absolute truth.

The ones you bought are the ones I was looking at.

Did they come with the mounting stud and stuff on the back?

Go over to Larry's Mustangs on Raymond Av. He probably can get them or has a catalog that shows who makes them.

Wow, that's a long link. I hope it works. I used a set from Scott Drake Restorations, (Mustang) They even offer a bexel with no cross bar so there is no cutting or maring of the finish. Start with their site and you can get a nice looking set cheaper than just about anywhere else. You have to buy through a dealer in your area, they didn't sell sirect I got mine through New England mustang in Easton, CT. They look nice mounted

Thanks Solarguy, That link peers to give us everything we need... I've got four retail dealers within ten miles of me.

Now I just wish I would have bought the foglights that I saw at the last Long Beach swapmeet(they were pitted pretty bad-didn't realize that I could buy the bezels seperately)... THANKS again!!
