Found this one in Pennsylvania.
Was searching very long for an unusual condition like that, and finally found it.

The original owners used it only from 73 to 79 as a kind of mini camper for holidays and visiting events...
In 2008 somebody took it out of an dry garage stuffed and buried under the things that had to go out of the way in the last 30 years....
It has 20k miles on the clock right now.
I still have the first title and the first licensing plate.

Brought it to Berlin in 2010, now it will bring my wife and me to mopar meets all over Europe in the future.

1973 Dodge D100 Adventurer SE

- wheel base 131
- drive train is 360 / 727 / 8 3/4 rear / 3.23:1
- power steering / power brakes / a/c / speed control
- "Tiger Lilly Metallic" is 100 % original, "Dodge Truck White" has been done one time...
- am - fm - cb radio -> Must be from 76. The only thing i found changed. Unfortunately the cluster was cut for that and i have a bit longer but original style antenna... (but still a cool option...)
- Muffler is "unbelievable", the first one. Rusty, but intact, it was also still good for the German "TÜV", which is our technical control board.... (i just had to let the pipe end at the rear for them...)

Old, ratty, but mine:

74ī D200 Custom. New brakes all around, new suspension, practically new (1yr old) BF Goodrich Baja 33ī x 12.5īs. Overkill for a 2wd, they will probably go away sooner or later, they DO look nice though. (front suspension has blocks in it to prevent overtravel with these tires)

Some minor rust in the cab (only one tiny hole about 3/4" by 1/3" at the doorstep the rest is really minor surface stuff/cosmetic repairs)

Got a second, better bed along with it that will replace this one. (Itīs really shot and dented like hell with a 3/4 ton of bondo to mask that....)

Will post more pics once i get my license plate, get the second bed unloaded at my friends place and can drive it to some scenic place up the mountains. The current pic is still from the previous owner i have to admit.

@muskote: hey, you failed to post pictures of your new ride on the german dodge truck board!!

What do you mean with "german truck board" ?
Iīm mostly active at www.mopar-forum.de and http://dodge-trucks-forum.de/phpbb2/index.php ...

Thatīs a nice rig you have there... love the grill.
Is it still original paint ?

Hi Muskote

I meant the Dodge Truck Forum, but in retrospect: they might be there since you obviously had the truck since 2010 and i havenīt read the entire board yet. Sorry!

Yeah, the grille is nice.... Not all that many around in Europe that havenīt been hacked up by the US Army in their M880īs.

Itīs got brand new Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit I or II headlights in it that work like a charm as well.

The paint looks better on the pic, itīs not the original paint but red primer. The technical proof board in Austria didnīt approve of the colour when the truck was in itīs original dark green. (The bed was faded differently then the cab as the bed was a donor bed. Originally, the truck had a flatbed with hinged walls all around.

A "Sonderaufbau" and since itīs officially a "Classic Truck" it was better to swap the bed before approval or it would have to stay on to keep it "in original condition")

So a quick primer job was done to get it on the road. (The truck was imported from switzerland, hence the need to get an approval from the proof board/TUEV.

Since itīs approved as a Classic, insurance is next to nothing or in my case: free as the insurance on my daily driver is higher. I can use the plates from my daily driver and slap em on as soon as i get it registered on the same plates.

Thanks for the kind words, it just ainīt no showroom queen but i like it that way and will improve it over the next months and years. Itīs also my first American made car as well as my first 8-banger.

best wishes, Dodgetrucker

EDIT: just took a second glance at the paperwork, itīs actually a 1974 Model not a 1976, which explains the early grille....

sorry, only had it a couple days and somehow i got the MY mixed up...

Been a long time since my last rampage, so it feels good to have dug this one up. She's a little rough around the edges, but that will change soon.

Finally got kind'f what I've been looking for. A 1975 Dodge D-300 dually Club Cab, 8' bed, original factory 440 cid/727 auto. Dana 70 rearend reworked to 3.55 and suregrip. Totally original 76K miles. Even paint and interior is original. Just got it, so no pic yet, but will post as soon as I shoot some. It's been raining for a year in this Godforsaken country.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT, AND WHAT KIND OF GOODIES CAN I GET FOR IT ??? 440 "sleeper": Manifold ? Carb(s) ?, Headers ? Wheels/tires ? etc., etc. Did the '75 440 pick-up truck have a cast or steel crank ? Sorry, I don't know to much about these "new" cars. Most of my 46 MOPARs are pre 1970.

Neat sounding truck. Looking forward to seeing pics. It will be a cast crank 440. Here's my 75 with a cast crank 440

My latest toy truck, a 1969 Fargo 100.
A one owner farm truck, it has been sitting on flat tires in a backyard for 28 years. Luckily, that backyard was in Saskatchewan, which is very dry and very cold.
One door glass was shot out of it a long time ago by kids with a pellet gun, which allowed rain and snow inside, ruining the floor in spots. The rest of the truck is remarkably well preserved! Not a bad deal for $200.
Oh yeah, I had to drive 10 days and 5000 miles to get it.

Hi Carl.

Thank you very much for your reply. As a foreigner on here, I certainly do not get many replys. That's also why I don't care to make many comments or posts on here. So yours is very much appreciated. And thank you for the info on the crank as well. If you, or anybody else, have any more info on what I can do to make this 440 "sleeper" a little hotter with a little better response to my right foot, that too would be much appreciated.

And I sure like your truck. I like that bright red colour on a truck like yours. And I would like the same on mine, but with some black on it too.

Rain, rain, rain here. Weatherforecast says may be some sun on coming wednesday or thursday, so I'll try to make a few shots then.

Thanks again, and take care.

Einar in Norway.

Oh, by the way, I sure have a "hot" story about driving my '69 Charger R/T (pictured elswhere on this site) from Nashville, Tennessee to Tampa, Florida back in 1978
