tpabayflyer OP pro stock Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,586 Tampa, FL	I think the water pump spins in the opposite direction on a magnum as opposed to the LA style but I was wondering if I could use the water pump housing and all accessories from a magnum engine and use them an an LA block??? I am using magnum heads on the LA block if it makes a difference... TIA TBF 71 Challenger 528 Hemi project 09 Gr Cherokee 5.7 hemi in da house!!

goldmember master G Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 4,501 Gainesville,FL	I can't think of any reason not to. The power steering pumps that I have all bolt to the head,not the block. What vehicle have you seen with the ps bolted to the block?

goldmember master G Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 4,501 Gainesville,FL	I have had 4 different magnum engines all ps pump brackets bolted to the head. I guess there is some application that bolts to the block but I haven't seen one.
