I just remounted mine in front of the right front leaf spring hanger. Holley 12-150 Electric HP 150 Fuel Pump gerotor.

A lot more quiet than the holley blue but you can still hear it.

I'm getting some seepage from the main body at the part line and may have to return it though.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

I thought that was a nice spot as well...I heard the Mallory was a good choice that would not be too loud. Can anybody confirm or deny?

To avoid drilling extra holes in the car, I used a length of angle iron, drilled 2 holes in it and mounted that to the long gas tank strap bolts, then mounted the pump to the angle iron. I ran the rubber line from the sending unit to the pump, and than another rubber line from the pump to the metal line in the car.

Mallory says to put a filter before and after the pump...I like your thinking but it provides little room for a filter.
